# Get Started

Linkcheck.io monitors the availability of backlinks to your website and sends notifications.

To begin using the service, you must first register. Once you have registered, you will have access to a free plan that allows you to create a project. The free plan includes the following limits:

* 20 backlinks for all projects
* 20 link rechecks
